Create a configuration baseline
Record the exact speaker model, revision, installed options and touring accessories represented by the case request. Photograph all faces and issue a dated measurement sheet in the actual transport orientation. The catalog confirms the product listing and URL, but the fit brief must come from the buyer’s real configuration.
Assign a baseline identifier to the equipment photos, measurements, pack list and supplier drawing. Mark connector, handle, control and grille areas separately from candidate support surfaces so later reviewers can see why each clearance exists.
Screen every change before a repeat order
Before reordering, compare the current fleet with the baseline: hardware revisions, replacement feet, new rigging parts, changed cable heads or added labels may alter fit and access. Classify each difference as no impact, drawing review required or fresh sample required, with a named owner and evidence.
Do not assume that an earlier case remains suitable because the model family name is unchanged. Send only the affected measurements and annotated photos to the supplier, then obtain a dated drawing revision that preserves the approved features not touched by the change.
Close acceptance with traceable records
For the updated sample, run the actual pack, lift, lid and retrieval sequence with all listed accessories. Check support locations, no-contact areas, handle access and connector clearance against the revised drawing, and record any deviation by position.
Store the accepted drawing revision beside the pack list and equipment baseline for purchasing and warehouse use. This creates repeat-order control without inventing material, protection, compatibility or service claims that are absent from the claim registry.
